We and the Words….!

We and the Words….!

Words are around us and words in us.
We express, we write, we read and we shear.

Words teaches us on who we are
And by the words we define the world around us.

Words of desire, words of pleasure, words of hatred and words of love,
We express with words what the heart cant.

Words can build you up and words can destroy the world
Words put in the place are some time dangerous then the gun.

Words build relationship and words can shatter your love.
Words can give you the pleasure but might take your life.

Words make you laugh, words can bring tears, words can bring smile, and words can make you fill joy.
Though the time passes by but the words swims with the time.

MASS EFFECT! HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE!

MASS EFFECT! HOW LONG IT WILL TAKE!

Well this is one of the most resent Computer Game available in the market and I am going to run you through it so that you all can complete the game without any problem.

Never mind! That was a joke. I even don’t have a slight idea on what it is about. I was going through a magazine when I came across the name MASS EFFECT. I thought that would be a topic on public awareness but when I started going through it I found it was about a computer game. To be very frank I love computer game very much and every day out of my schedule I take some time out sit in front of the PC and play for some time. Well that is a different story.

If we look in to the history of ASSAM, we had an age where there were so many legends at various time. The place was full of glow and was proud to be ASSAM. If we compare the time we are in it will rather give u a filling of disappointment then a smile of pride. This is an area of globalization and the world is moving towards a time where we have things ready to be used. But when I look into the place where I was born, it is still empty and there are so much that we can put into those empty spaces. I did some observations. Our people are not very much ready to accept the changes that are actually necessary. We have been institutionalized with certain rules and habits that we think are important. But the fact is with time we need to change. I do agree that certain principles are very very important. In the same time I do believe that modernization can be achieved without the cost of change in the moral values. If we are not accepting the changes with the progress in time it will cost our fellow generation and they will be left behind in the race to attain the necessary place. We cannot make our fellow generation to pay the price of our deeds. Countries with small in land mass and half the population are still ahead of us. Then what is keeping us behind. Our history is so grate with so many visionaries yet we are lost. But still we don’t stop complaining. Even I have become a part of it. How long it will take for the people to realize that we should stop complaining and start working on to make our place better than what it is. I really don’t know how to start but what I know is if we don’t start now then it will be very late. This is an area where speed and steady counts.

We complain that the political system is corrupt and is not doing enough for us. But have we ever questioned ourselves who have elected them as leaders? The answer would be us I suppose. Or even we have some complain on that. We have seen the same political group from many many years now. Haven’t we? And time and again we have given chance to them to accomplish what they promise. Now it is the time for a new blood of the soil to emerge as elders. It’s not only the state who needs a new leader also it’s the country we are part to also need a leader. We belong to a soil where grate leaders like Lachit Borphooken, Kanak Lata, Tarun Ram Phooken, Lakhminath Bordoloi, the list is endless. The point is we have the potential to make the difference. They were our ancestors and when they can why can’t we. It’s the small things that make all the difference. A spark started all the fire. We have the spark all it needs is our support. One generation is at the verse of its end and one will soon emerge to take the place. That will be us. If it’s a small step that makes all the difference then I am ready to put forward that step. Are you??????????......

A Trance!

Holding a cup of coffee I was looking out through the window. Patto ke arr se girte huwe baris ki bonddo me laga jese ki jindegi ke kuch pall gum ho jeye. OH! Barish ki bundo me to Love Story chupi hoti hai na?

It was Monday morning; through the rain I was on the way to office. The traffic was heavy and slow moving. OH! I could hardly hold my frustration. Nothing worse could have happened; I was stuck in a traffic signal and the traffic was not moving. I was late for the office. Dimag kaharab hojaya. Bagal me ek add board pe nazar pari, us me likha that “Bheja Fry to 7up Try”. What rubbish!

I was looking around to find a spot to come out of the traffic some how. My eyes stopped at the girl waiting in the traffic with her Scotty. Fore a moment I was lost and only one song was coming to my mind “Aaza Meri Gadi me beth ja…. Aaza Meri Gadi me beth ja…” We were moving at the same pace. The way she looked after she was wet in the rain; I just could not resist myself from falling in love. Couldn’t have asked for more in that traffic. Her left eyebrow was raised with anger and baris ki bunde us ke ballo ko chute huwe gir rahi thi. The blue salwar look just the right choice at that moment. Pulkho me jame huwe basrish ki bunde, aur, aur, aur...!

Suddenly I heard a very familiar sound “Sale Kumbhkaran aur kitna sowega. Office nahi jana hai kiya. Uth ja. Uth sale.” The sound was coming closer and was getting louder I looked behind and suddenly it vanished. So again I looked at the girl she was gone. I came out of the car to find her but she was gone. Again I heard “Sale Kumbhkaran aur kitna sowega. Office nahi jana hai kiya. Uth ja. Uth sale”. I could recognize it is the annoying sound of my cell phone alarm and I discovered my self in the same old bed. I looked at the watch it was 9AM and I was really late for the office.

Mother Land….!

Mother Land….!

The grass is so green, the scent is so sweet,
In a distance the hill touches the blue sky and below it the river passing by.
Someone painted a hut at a distance with smoke rising and rainbow behind.

The place where life starts with a pure smile like the morning dewdrop on the meadow shines like the diamonds on green sky.
The breeze touches you like your love, taking all your pain and scuffing way.

The morning starts with the melody of the birds and the rising sun behind the hill to the sky.
The sky is so blue and the grass is so green, this how god wanted the earth to be.
The beauty is untouched by time and the place is pure with its shin.

The spring here looks like a canvas,
With all the colures scattering to the endless horizon narrates the imagination of the painter without a word.
The winter here is like the touch of a mother making us fill safe before the night passes and a morning starts.

The grass is so green, the scent is so sweet,
In a distance the hill touches the blue sky and below it the river passing by.
Someone painted a hut at a distance with smoke rising and rainbow behind.

I have been way for so long; I have never felt the same before.

Just A Day……..!

Just A Day……..!

The melody of the birds woke me up,
I looked outside, it was the rising sun.
Lights from the sun through my bedroom window shine my room with a warm glow.

The darkness is cleared away,
God has given us another day.
Let the past go way and start over again, make the future right and don’t have to look back again.

The light of the sun spreading over the sea, tells us how beautiful life is.
Hop is every where and a chance is all we need.
God gives it us but we dot see it.

A day comes and goes with the sunset spreading darkness all over again.
We wait for the sunrise to scratch the darkness and spread light all over the world.
Hop is every where and a chance is all we need.
God gives it us but we dot see it.

Glory Days!!!!!!

Glory Days!!!!!!

Gone are those days……..!

I looked at the mirror this morning,
Found myself not a child any more.
I looked at the past; it seemed those were glory days of my life!

As a child we come so far, the time has changed so fast.
Life looked so good in those days; it was sweet and fresh like scent of the soil after the first rain.

Days use to start with the Sunday cartoon and ends with a feast.
Going for a walk holding hands with mom, chatting with her all the way long till we return home.
Go to play with yours friends and return home late and get busted by the parents.

Mom comes with a glass of milk before you go to sleep.
Even if don’t like it you have to drink.

Watching TV with your sister and teasing her till she burst out in anger, then run and hide behind your mom and say it was not your fault.
Going to school without doing the home work and tell the teacher that last night you had a high fever.

Life was so simple and so good.
I would never like to come out.
I miss those days so much, I ask for nothing but just one chance, to go back and start again.

I looked at the mirror this morning,
Found myself not a child any more.
I looked at the past; it seemed those were glory days of my life!
